This PhD research investigates the impact of Acoustic Black Hole (ABH) devices on vibroacoustic wave propagation in heavy fluid-loaded pipes. The study will consider both structural and sonic ABH concepts, developing analytical and numerical models to analyze their performance. Experimental validation will be conducted at Grundfos, a pump manufacturer.
