Responsibilities

Be Part of something Bigger

We are searching for a passionate Senior Test Engineer to join our engineering squads and QA team. As a senior test engineer you will be responsible for  the QA in at least one cross-functional squad. You will work alongside engineers, DevOps, and a product owner, taking responsibility for the evolution of a set of our services. You will work closely with the Product Manager, providing your insights and ideas as part of the agile ceremonies that frame our 3-week sprints. You will support the squad in rapid prototyping of new services for clients, always ensuring the appropriate level of quality. You will help continuously improve the quality of existing services already used in production by our clients. You will push for improvements in our internal processes and mentor the engineers in how to reach even higher levels of quality. You will actively help reach our ambitions target for test automation, develop automated tests. You will also be part of the QA chapter, exchanging lessons learned and developing ideas for cross squad QA improvements.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Your experience matters:
  • 5+ years experience in quality assurance
  • Proficiency in UI automation using Playwright
  • Solid understanding of REST API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger
  • Experience in automation testing of APIs using TypeScript/Javascript
  • Collaborate effectively within Agile Scrum teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
  • Helped form quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvements
  • Experience with defining, measuring and acting on leading and trailing KPIs
  • Solid Written and Spoken English

Bonus points for:
  • Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools
  • Experience in checking logs using tools like New Relic
  • Familiarity with SQL database systems as well as no-SQL databases
  • Exposure to or interest in the space sector and understanding of the challenges in space missions
  • Worked with cloud-based microservices architectures and contribute to testing efforts
Utilize code and bug management tools, including Git and Jira
