POLENE Established in 2016 by three siblings, Polène crafts a collection of leathergoods that blends minimalism and creative exploration to offer unique shapes and signatures achieved through excellent craftsmanship. The leather, sourced exclusively from certified Italian and Spanish tanneries, is sculpted to create organic forms, folds, drapery effects, or weavings. The manufacturing process is entrusted to our artisans in Ubrique, a city in Spain specializing in high-end leathergoods, which hosts all of Polène's production trades. Since 2023, Polène has been expanding into a new realm of expression: jewelry. Thematic collections explore nature, from the undulations of the wind to the textures of rocks sculpted into the material. Our documentary: “HORS CHAMP” THE POLENE ENVIRONMENT In a context of strong international growth and structuring, our PR & Influence department is seeking its future PR Manager for the UK, Ireland and Australia, whose role will be to ensure the development and execution of comprehensive PR strategies that enhance the brand's image, visibility, and market presence in these key markets. Based in our Paris headquarters with the rest of our international PR team, you will lead 1 junior PR, manage relationships with key media outlets, influencers, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), stylists and VIPs. You will also travel on a regular basis to London, to meet the different targets in our boutique (opening in December 2024 on Regent Street).

Responsibilities

Directly reporting to the Global PR Director, your missions will be the following : 

1/ Strategy Development
  • Develop and implement tailored PR strategies to strengthen brand awareness and perception.
  • Align PR initiatives with HQ objectives to maximize impact and visibility.

2/ Influencer Engagement
  • Leverage strong business knowledge of influencer marketing to identify and collaborate with influencers, KOLs, stylists and celebrities.
  • Develop relationships with celebrity agencies and negotiate ambassador contracts and partnerships to enhance brand visibility and reach.

3/ Media Relations
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers across the region.
  • Secure positive media coverage through strategic pitching and media outreach efforts.

4/ Event Management
  • Plan and execute PR events.
  • Organize store receptions and other events to engage with key stakeholders and enhance brand presence.

5/ Analytics and Reporting
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve PR strategies and outcomes.

6/ Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the PR team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Coordinate with the global PR team to maintain consistent messaging and strategy.

7/ Budget Management
  • Manage the PR budget for the region, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Allocate resources strategically to maximize impact and ROI.

8/ Travel and Flexibility
  • Flexibility to travel to London on a regular basis .

Qualifications

KEYS TO SUCCESS 
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in public relations within the fashion industry.
  • Proven experience in fashion PR roles.
  • Strong network of media contacts and influencers in the region.
  • Good knowledge of the different social media platforms with strong expertise in organic and paid influencer strategy on social media. 
  • Experience in celebrity agency management and ambassador contract negotiation is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into effective PR campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in PR analytics tools and software.
