Summary

We are currently looking for Bike Tour Guides for our top-rated bike tours in Nice and the French Riviera.

Responsibilities

Working as a tour guide is a demanding but highly rewarding job. In fact, it’s more of a passion than a job, as you have to provide high-quality tours consistently and maintain a friendly and positive attitude.

Qualifications

We love to hear from you if you can say yes to these points:

  • You can work in France legally and willing to register and work as a self-employed (microentrepreneur) see more information about this bellow
  • You speak English proficiently (minimum level: C1) and you are used to interacting professionally with an Anglo/Saxon and international crowd
  • You are a good storyteller and have a natural ability to entertain
  • You enjoy being around people of all backgrounds
  • You are not scared of standing in front of people and managing a group
  • You are safety conscious
  • You are able to learn and retain a lot of information quickly
  • Minimum level of fitness
  • You have a passion for this region

Nice-To-Haves

  • You speak Dutch or French
  • Ideally, you live in or near the city centre of Nice
  • You have a general working knowledge of Nice and the French Riviera,
  • Some bike maintenance skills

Offer

Offer

  • We offer part-time work, morning, afternoons, weekdays and weekends. Our city tours last 3 hours and our E-bike tour last between 3/5 hours.
  • Our high season is from early April to end-October, however we have groups such as travellers/backpackers, student groups and corporate groups during our pre-season in the months of December till March.

Salary and registration Autoentrepreneur

  • As a registered autoentrepreneur we pay 17 euro per hour. There will be a social tax of 23% which that has to be declared quarterly.
  • Registration as antoentrepreneur takes between 8 to 15 days
