This PhD research investigates innovative output matching and power combining functions for high-power MMIC amplifiers. The goal is to reduce losses and increase power efficiency, potentially enabling operation at higher frequency bands. Two approaches will be explored: PCB-based antennas for the Ka band and on-chip antennas for Q and E bands.
